How this test works
Pick 1, 2, 3 or 5 minutes — the same durations used in real job typing tests. Every test serves a different exam-style paragraph, so your score reflects genuine typing skill.
How is WPM calculated?
Every 5 correct keystrokes count as one word, divided by minutes. This is the international standard used by typing exams worldwide.
What speed do data-entry jobs require?
Most data-entry and clerk tests ask for 30–40 WPM with 90%+ accuracy. Court and government posts often test on similar paragraphs to the ones used here.
Why a new paragraph every time?
Memorized text inflates scores. Fresh paragraphs train your fingers to handle anything — exactly what exam halls demand.
